The starting point and the foundation for a “Relationship” with God is “knowing in your knower” that God Loves You.

Your “knower” is your gut.  Deep.  Way down inside.  So deeply embedded that nothing can change this unshakable knowledge.  No daily circumstances, no tragedy, no disagreement with another person, no rejection from another person, no name calling, no one can convince you that God doesn’t love you fully and completely.

Other names for “knower” would be “inner man” or “heart.”

Keep your heart with all diligence; for out of it spring the issues of life.                Proverbs 4:23 NKJV

The Hebrew word for heart is  labe
Some of the meanings are – The feelings, the will and even the intellect; likewise for the center of anything, understanding, wisdom.

Who Could Benefit From Knowing God in the “Knower”?

Whether we are new to a relationship with God or have been a Christian for many years, there are indication markers that we might not “know in our knower” that God loves us.

  • Relationship Difficulties
  • Low Self-Esteem
  • Addictions
  • Persistent or Underlying Anger
  • Perfectionism – To Earn Approval From Others and Self
  • Demanding Perfectionism From Others
  • Criticism of Others and Self
  • Bitterness
  • Unforgiveness of Self and Others
  • Drivenness to Perform to Earn Self and Others Approval
  • Habitual Bad Choices
  • The List Goes On

How Does One Get This Knowledge of God’s Love Inside His/Her “Knower”?

My son, attend to my words; incline your ear unto my sayings.
Do not let them depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart.
For they are life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh.
Keep your heart with all diligence; for out of it spring the issues of life.  Proverbs 4:20-23 NKJV

The best way to get the knowledge of God’s Love into our “knower” is to meditate on this truth over and over and over. One truth at a time, until we build a physical thought into our brain.

Thoughts in the brain resemble trees.  It takes a minimum of 21 days, 5-7 minutes per day to build a new stable thought into the brain.  It takes another 42 days of meditation on that thought for it to grow branches.  The more healthy thought trees with branches we have in our brains, the better our quality of life.

This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth; but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it.  For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.  Joshua 1:8 NKJV

The Hebrew word for meditate is haw-gaw’
To murmur, to ponder: – imagine, mutter, roar, study, talk, utter.

Meditate

  • Say it
  • Chew on it
  • Think about it
  • Say it
  • Read it
  • Write it
  • Say it

21-Day God Loves You Challenge

Soon we will embark on a “21-Day God Loves You Challenge.”  I have done this and it definitely makes a difference in the way one thinks and feels about self, God, others and life. I won’t try to tell you I have it “all” together.  “I’m not where I want to be; but thank God, I’m not where I used to be.”

I suppose that is what makes the journey with God so adventurous and rewarding. There is always a new challenge to undertake, an obstacle to overcome, a mountain to climb, a change to embrace, mourning tears to shed, happy dances to perform and celebrating songs to vocalize. Life is not dull, and aren’t glad for that.  With God’s Love on the Inside of us, life is a whole lot easier and much more enjoyable.

We will go through this together, day by day.  I want to build an even greater knowledge that God Loves Me Unconditionally in my “knower.” The delight of this journey is that along the way, God reveals precious nuggets of truth and love, specially designed to each individual heart. Your nuggets will, no doubt, differ from mine, thus reinforcing how God speaks to each of us particular to our relationship with Him. I invite you to come along on the journey.  Are you up for it?

When Jesus said, “I Am the Way”   (John 14:6)

He answered the Question – “How” does one “Live” Abundant Life

In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. (1 John 4:9)

Living Through Christ — Hidden In Christ  (Psalm 91)

Abundant Life – Through Jesus –>   Salvation –

Hebrew meanings of Salvation –

  • Deliverance
  • Safety
  • Preservation
  • Healing
  • Soundness  (Spirit, Soul, and Body)

Psalm 91:1-4

He that dwells in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler

Psalm 32:7

Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.

Hebrew meaning of “compass me about” – To revolve, surround or border

God loved us so much, he sent His only son, Jesus, so that we could live through Him. Living our day to day life through Jesus, is “How” we live Abundant Life.

  • He Delivers Us Daily
  • He Protects Us Daily
  • He Preserves Us Daily
  • He Heals Us Daily  (Mind, Will, Emotions, Body)
  • He Leads Us Into Soundness (Spirit, Soul and Body) Daily

Walking with God is a process, a daily process.  Sometimes we don’t see the progress and get discouraged.  Don’t.  God’s Word is True.  He said He would deliver, protect, preserve, heal and make us sound.  He will.  As we continue to abide (dwell, homestead) with God, by talking to Him, listening to Him through His written Word and His still soft voice in our spirit, God will bring the process to pass.  Deliverance, Safety, Preservation, and Healing is the process that brings Soundness

Deliverance, Safety, Preservation, Healing  –>  Soundness

That sounds like my kind of  “Abundant Life.”
